Tim and Lily truly changed my relationship with my puppy, Riggins. What I feel sets them apart is the way they give specific attention to the why's of behavior. I did not feel like it was cookie cutter. They also gave me skills to better see and understand what Riggins needed. I had the added benefit of having them work with Riggins when he stayed at my mother's (who is in her 80's). Tim and Lily patiently worked with them together and my mom now has the confidence to care for him and walk him safely. That gives me tremendous peace of mind. While I was traveling with Tim and our production company for work, I received the heartbreaking news that my 17-year-old dog, Juno, had passed away. Tim stepped in without hesitation. He made all the difficult and necessary calls to ensure my dog’s body was respectfully cared for until I could get home. His calm, compassionate presence during that moment was a lifeline.
Over the following months he continued to help me process my grief and find ways to celebrate her life. Tim and Lily aren't just extraordinary dog trainers—they are truly kind and empathetic people who go above and beyond for the people (and animals) in their life. Petey was about twelve when he and Tim met. Over the next few years, they had countless walks on the beach, in the woods, in the park and in town. They were friends and companions. When Petey was dying at age fifteen, Tim was by my side and by Petey’s side. Tim helped get me through the painful passing of our beloved Petey. He provided support and counseling and helped me cope with my grief. I have a new dog now named Bonnie who is fearful and reactive and doesn’t make friends easily.
The first time she met Tim and Lily she barked once, sniffed them and was immediately at ease. Like magic!
